Ahmed is a specialist technologist and researcher in high voltage battery systems. He has worked most recently for JLR as a high voltage battery lead engineer and prior to this role worked in several global EV tech companies developing high power battery systems.  His specialisms include R&D, Product Development, Prototype Build, Design Validation, Systems Engineering, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Renewable Energy, Power Generation, Electric Vehicles, Energy Storage, Lithium-ion Batteries, Battery Testing, Failure Mode Analysis, and Functional Safety. Ahmed has a Doctorate in Engineering from Warwick University, an MSc in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from Warwick University and an MSc in Renewable Energy Systems Technology from Loughborough University
